After about 7 months this day last but not least came I placed the get back in April immediately after I made a decision that I preferred an iX to exchange my X5 40i (which was likely to be thanks on Nov 24). In mid April I questioned my CA when would be a fantastic time to begin the approach. He said immediately, so I started off participating in with the configurator on bmwusa.com and came up with my spec.

My timeline:

Stop of July I checked My Garage status, but there was no modify.

&#13
9/19: At the port

I began tracking Atlas Chief journey and developed this thread: https://bmwi.bimmerpost.com/forums/s….php?t=1959873

11/4: Atlas Leader arrived at Port Hueneme (2 times guiding authentic timetable)
&#13
11/7: Gained at VDC
&#13
11/10: Launched from VDC
&#13
11/17: Arrived at dealership

Just before I go on, I want to ship a large thank you and shout out to my CA: Jon Shafer at BMW of Santa Maria. If you’ve been close to the BMW local community due to the fact the 2000, the name Jon Shafer should be common to you. He was the founder of Bimmerfest and at that time the GM at BMW of Santa Barbara. Jon utilized to be super lively on Bimmerfest and provided tons and tons of details to the community. I’ve recognized him given that 2002 when I did my initial Euro Supply, and this iX is the 5th auto I obtained from him. If you’re in NorCal or SoCal, you should speak to Jon to see if he can aid you. Continue to keep in intellect though BMW of SM is a small family members owned vendor so it truly is not in the very same league as these mega dealership in LA or Bay Spot. I stay in the Bay Region myself, but I would instead make the trek to Santa Maria and perform with Jon simply because he can make the whole process easy and he generally proactively retains me updated.

Yesterday was the initially time I dealt with BMW of SM and everyone was also incredibly good. Enormous thanks to the entire staff!

Okay, now it can be time for images
